COURSE INFORMATION

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of roles within the human resources sector who have a sound theoretical knowledge base in human resources management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that human resources functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff.


This course provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge required to be a valued leader in the ever changing and growing field of Human Resource Management. During this course you will be trained in managing human resource services, workforce planning, recruitment and selection and industrial relations.

Lessons are delivered face-to-face with a self -study online component, and include a range of methods, practical tasks and activities. Assessments are conducted via observation, demonstration, case study, practical tasks, projects and a portfolio.

 

Course Duration

52 weeks includes

  • Face-to-Face sessions in classroom

  • Self-study online

  • Simulated business/real work place sessions

  • Study break (12 weeks)

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes; BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations; BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding; and BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent. 

  • Overseas students must have a minimum overall band of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
